This home began as a traditional North Fitzroy terrace — modest from the street, but full of potential. The clients wanted a home that felt open, bright and effortless for a busy family, with spaces that worked hard without feeling crowded.

Once inside, the home opens into a spacious, light‑filled interior shaped around relaxed family living. We designed every area to feel calm and intuitive, with circulation that makes daily life easy and a layout that encourages connection.
Storage that disappears into the architecture.
Space under the eaves was fully utilised to create additional storage, while a boot cupboard and wine cellar were seamlessly integrated beneath the stairs. These quiet, functional moves keep the home organised without sacrificing warmth or character.
A backyard that feels like a getaway.
The rear of the home opens to casual outdoor dining and a poolside garden — a space that instantly shifts the mood. It’s relaxed, sun‑filled and surprisingly tranquil, making the city feel far away.
